Description
Contemporary abstract wolves done with oil paint on paper. This piece started with ink dripping, acrylic color as a base, followed by mark making, gel medium, oil pastel and oil paint. Finish with a final coating of vanish to protect the painting.
This painting consists of multiple layers of mix media and depth. What I like to achieve is to capture your attention across the room and draw you in as you approach the painting you will notice more and more interesting mark making and details. The flow of color will float and the painting will draw you closer as if it want to whisper secrets to you.
